My answer….If you have been practicing yoga for a while at some point you might get the itch to learn more. A YTT is a big commitment but can also be life changing. Only YOU can know if you are ready but if you’re thinking about taking the plunge here are a few things to consider…
- Can you commit the time? It is a lot to invest in (both financially and physically) so make sure that you have the availability to attend all of the sessions.
- You do NOT need to be an “advanced” practitioner. Unless you are doing some sort of advanced training there is usually no/minimal requirements to register.
- Be prepared to be vulnerable. At some point in your training your bound to experience a full range of emotions but trust the process and allow your emotions to flow.
- You can do this just for you. Doing a teacher training is a great opportunity to discover more about yourself. It gives you a chance to dive deeper than just the physical practice. So you can still do a training even if you have no interest in teaching!
Doing my first yoga teacher training changed the trajectory of my life. It made me realize the power of investing into yourself.
