i spent most of my childhood and young adult life convinced I was going to be a professional dancer. As a dancer I was able to see some pretty cool places but at some point i realized neither my heart (or my body) were able to fully commit.
I first got into yoga because of my mother. I'm not going to lie... at the beginning I was not a big fan but, the more I went the more it became obvious to me that yoga was a direction that made sense. Now I can't imagine my life without it.
As a yoga teacher I combine my background as a dancer and my knowledge of the body to teach creative and intuitive flowing classes.
I always end my practice with the words "be humble and be kind." I choose this phrase because of its simplicity. Being humble and being kind is achievable by us all and provides the basic framework to being a good human. Even on those days you are unable to get on your mat and rejuvenate your body, you can still start and end your day with a phrase that will rejuvenate your soul.
